I'm not sure what the name of the purple flower that the butterfly is sitting on - but isn't it amazing that the flower is made up of 100's of little flowers. I really, really like that!
Ms Penny: You know what I didn't know that blogger did that either! Thanks for pointing it out :):) And that tree is called buddleia...a paradise for butterflies and bees.
Candy Froggie: It's not a lilac, it's even better and you just bought one I heard :) It's a butterfly bush ( arbre a papillon) or buddleia. It's better than the lilac in my opinion because it flowers all summer long until it freezes. But it doesn't smell like a lilac. But I can't grow lilac here: too hot!

hehe that's unfair (as usual), while we're enjoying a great Spring, you're already into Summer!
I LOVE that pic here, I wondered if the butterfly had 2 heads for a moment (the end of his wings kinda look like a head here!)
and the flower, is it lilac? if it is, I'm even more jealous :P
As for Pastis... it's the fav aperitive of my mom and step father, there is ALWAYS a bottle of Pastis in their Breton-ish house!
